Mr. Ali’s operations leadership experience will help to drive growth and profitability
Moon Township, PA – HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. (HRV), leaders in quality assurance and quality control inspection, construction management and construction inspection (CM/CI), announced today that Thomas G. Ali, P.E., has joined the company as Vice President, Operations. In this new role, Mr. Ali’s responsibilities include assisting in the development of HRV’s future short and long term strategies for growth as well as management oversight of corporate operations.
“With his proven record of accomplishment in driving growth and improving operational profitability, Tom will add great value to HRV’s executive management team,” said HRV President H. Rochelle Stachel. “His extensive technical background aligns well with our existing service offerings, as well as initiatives to develop new service and market opportunities.”
Mr. Ali’s nearly 30-year engineering and construction career encompasses technical and leadership positions as a staff engineer, department and district manager, senior vice president, chief operating officer, and chief executive officer. His background also includes technical expertise in materials testing and geotechnical engineering.
Most recently, Mr. Ali oversaw business strategy and operational performance for a $50-million general construction and facility support services firm, which performs design-build and design-bid-build projects in a broad spectrum of market segments in the mid-Atlantic region (US).
A Civil Engineering graduate of Penn State University and a professional engineer (Pennsylvania), Mr. Ali is highly regarded among his peers as a leader skilled in overall operations management, business development, workforce recruiting and retention, and many other areas that will strengthen HRV’s management team. He is an actively pursuing renewed membership in a number of industry trade associations including ASCE, ASHE, ACEC, ACI, and NSPE. He recently obtained membership in SMPS. Additionally, Mr. Ali serves as Board Chair (Alleghenies Board of Directors) for the National Kidney Foundation, Inc. (NKF).
Mr. Ali will operate from the Company’s corporate offices in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, and report to HRV President H. Rochelle Stachel.
