HRV will be attending and exhibiting (booth #903) at SSPC 2018, January 15-18 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. HRV’s Jared Rigo, PCS, Coatings Ops Manager, will be presenting “Issues and Challenges of Field Surface Preparation” at the conference, on Monday, January 15 at 9:30 AM, in Room #265.
Jared’s discussion will cover challenges that arise as today’s coatings preparation means and methods diversify, and structures types become more complex. Highlighted topics will include abrasive selection, use and reuse, waste management and disposal, containment, degree of surface cleanliness, substrate type and existing condition, zone painting vs. full rehabilitation and scheduling conflicts.
Additionally, Jared will be the “Track Chair” for SSPC’s Power (Session 2) on Tuesday, January 16 from 8:30 – 10:00 AM in Room #266.
