Mark joined HRV in 2016 as Marketing Communications Director, and has recently been appointed Vice President, Communications & Administration. With 30+ years of technical, business development, marketing and communications experience in the A/E/C industry (28 years with an ENR Top 50 firm), he brings a unique blend of capabilities to HRV. Mark’s technical background includes traditional surveying, GPS supervision, engineering technician support, mapping and project management. His experience in marketing, communications, and administration began nearly 20 years ago with proposal coordination at the operations level, which transitioned to corporate-wide advertising, brand management, marketing collateral, public and media relations, executive and investor relations presentation development, investor relations research, website administration, internal communications, and magazine editing. Mark previously served in the U.S. Air Force as an Environmental Health Specialist, and has completed the Organizational Leadership certificate program at Robert Morris University.
With a penchant for arctic fresh air and a little solitude, Mark enjoys a regular northern Canadian fishing trip with his brothers. He is a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan, savors a finely crafted Islay or Speyside single malt, curates an antiquarian library, plays guitar, creates artwork and spends quality time with family.
